Love in action around the world. The Navy did not want us flying to Germany in case Taylor would be stable enough to catch flight from Germany to the US the next day. We were beside ourselves not knowing if we should go just in case – or if we would get there only to find him in the air on the way home. I called my cousins – and OMG – I cannot express my appreciation enough – because they put all aside and were able to make it to the hospital to see Taylor and lay their loving hands on him – ensuring that he felt a families love. I feel so blessed by their commitment and love! More commitment – another EOD soldier had volunteered to fly over to Germany to escort Taylor back to the US – and my Germany family gave to EOD Jack Damon, a blue cross to give to me when he met me. Jack presented me the cross when we met for the first time at Walter Reed Hospital. Loving energy being passed from good people can travel around the world. Speaking of good people Danielle wears that blue cross around her neck as we speak. Love in action travels around the world. - Julie Morris
